After a week off DD is ready to funk it up and bring summer with hip & a hop!

We'll be at Conte's in Westport on Friday for the first time and back at the River Cat on Saturday night.

 

If you haven't been to Conte's yet it is a must!  The food is tremendous so I recommend you call today to make a reservation for dinner and then get ready to jam with Double Down for the night!

 

Well, on to new stuff.  Double Down is gearing up for a busy summer!  We have a pretty full calendar so far and some special summertime surprises!  I won't let the cat out the bag, but make sure you check back often for some cool surprises.

 

We also want to welcome the newest member of Double Down, Rob Ortner.  Dano has decided that he wants to pursue his guitar playing more seriously, but don't you worry your little self as Dano will still sit in with us from time to time.  And DD is very excited for Dan & Cristina's upcoming wedding in RI. 

 

Rob brings with him tons of experience and a truly funky sound to DD.  His licks will definitely make you "Get Up, Get On Up!" Make sure you give him a warm welcome when you see us next.

 

Expect to hear some new funky R&B and Motown additions to our set.  We may even have an original or two to share at some of our upcoming shows.
